To add and edit customers, you must be a Crumbs Manager. See Permissions.
Adding a customer
You can add a customer in Crumbs using the home page. In the main navigation bar, click the Apps menu and choose Crumbs.
Click the 'Add customer' button at the top right of the home page.
In the resulting dialog, enter a customer name and click 'Add'.
Once created, you will be taken to the details page where you can add further information.
Editing a customer
You can edit customers in two ways:
via the customer details page or
via the issue context in a linked issue.
To edit a customer in the customer details page, open it by:
clicking a card or its hyperlinked name on the home page (see Searching and viewing);
clicking in a linked Jira issue (see Linking issues).
To edit a field, hover your mouse pointer over the field and click. Enter some text or choose a value. For text fields, don't forget to click to save your changes.
For inline editing in the issue context, open a Jira issue and scroll down until you see the Crumbs context. Click 'Linked customer(s)' to expand it. If there is a linked customer, simply hover your mouse over a field and click it to edit it!
Adding customer notes
You can also capture notes for customers by clicking on ‘Add internal note’. Simply enter some text in the resulting dialog and click ‘Save’.
Removing a customer
To remove a customer, either:
click to the right of the customer on the home page in table view.
click the 'Delete customer' button on the customer details page.
It is not possible to remove a customer if they were synchronized as a Jira Service Management organization.
