Crumbs retirement

Shutdown date

Crumbs is being retired on 31 December 2024.

This is due to the shutdown of Atlassian’s External Assets Platform, where Crumbs stores its data. This means that Crumbs will stop working past this date and data will be lost.

What this means for you

The retirement of Crumbs means that you must export your data using the CSV exporter or via the Crumbs REST API.

It is important to note that there is now almost full feature parity available in Jira natively through Jira Service Management (JSM) Customer Service Management (CSM).

All Crumbs features will cease to work, including the Crumbs API, so please ensure that this is communicated to your users.
