Installing Stars

1. As Jira Administrator, go to the Atlassian Marketplace (Administration > apps).
   (  Pro-Tip: press the '.' key to get the search menu, type 'app', and click 'Find new apps')
2. Use the search bar in the 'Find new apps' page to search for Stars.
3. Select the correct app and click 'Free trial' to begin using Stars for a limited trial period, or click 'Buy now' to purchase a license.
4. When directed to, enter your information on myatlassian.com and click 'Generate license'.
5. Click 'Apply license'.

Updating Stars

1. As Jira Administrator, go to the apps section (Administration > apps).
   (  Pro-Tip: press the '.' key to get the search menu, type 'app', and click 'Manage apps')
2. Click 'Manage apps' and set the drop down filter to 'Action required'.
3. Click 'Update' next to the Stars entry.
4. Jira should automatically download and apply the update.
5. A success message should appear after the update has been applied.

Disabling Stars

1. As Jira Administrator, go to the apps section (Administration > apps) and click 'Manage apps'.
   (  Pro-Tip: press the '.' key to get the search menu, type 'app', and click 'Manage apps')
2. Expand the Stars section using the arrow to the left of the name.
3. Click the 'Disable' button.

Uninstalling Stars

1. As Jira Administrator, go to the apps section (Administration > apps) and click 'Manage apps'.
   (  Pro-Tip: press the '.' key to get the search menu, type 'app', and click 'Manage apps')
2. Expand the Stars section using the arrow to the left of the name.
3. Click the 'Uninstall' button.
